When choosing where to call home for your Newport getaway, you want somewhere that offers more than just a room with a bed. Well, at The Embarcadero Resort, we work to give you a cozy place to call home and so much more. Found at the end of the historic bayfront, our Newport resort is also home to an incredible marina.
While there are over 100 marinas in the state, The Embarcadero Marina is one of only 62 certified clean marinas through a voluntary program offered by the Oregon State Marine Board. What does this mean? Being a certified clean marina means we do our part to protect the environment by taking steps to protect and improve water quality. We do this by promoting environmentally sensitive programs.
What Do We Offer?
Our marina is equipped to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible, whether you brought a boat or not. We have 233 year-round slips ranging in size from 20 to 40 feet. Many of these slips are available for daily, monthly, or weekly rentals, perfect for guests looking to bring their own vessels.
If you are planning to use our marina, you will need to make a reservation ahead of time with our marina manager, and upon arrival, you will need to register your vessel with either the marina manager or with the front desk staff if it’s after hours. Moorage rental gives you two key cards to access the recreation center, which includes an indoor salt water pool, two outdoor hot tubs, a fitness center, as well as crab cookers, fish cleaning stations, and more. Another great feature of the marina is our crab boat rentals, available daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Try your hand at crabbing, a popular Oregon pastime, on one of our rentals. You can choose a two, four, or six-hour boat rental. Your rental includes three baited crab rings, a crab gauge, access to crab cookers, and safety equipment. You can also rent crab cages for 24 hours to use on our private crabbing dock. To go crabbing, you must purchase a shellfish license, which can be done online through the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Of course, the marina isn’t the only great feature of our Newport resort. The Embarcadero Resort is home to everything you need for the best vacation possible.
