What to Know about the Newport Farmer’s Market
Since 1978, the Newport Farmer’s Market has been a popular gathering place. The outdoor market is open on Saturdays from March through December at the intersection of Highway 101 and Angle Street. With over 60 vendors, you never know what you might find. There’s everything from hand-made jewelry to plants, seasonal produce to fresh pastries, and more. We recommend seeing if you can put together the perfect picnic basket to enjoy at a nearby park.
Shop Other Oregon Markets
Another fantastic option is the Toledo Waterfront Market. Located about 10 minutes from our Newport resort, this market is open Thursdays from June through August. Shop the booths filled with homemade arts and crafts, food, fresh produce, and more. You might just find the perfect keepsake to remember your Oregon vacation by.
Head south, and you’ll reach the Walport Wednesday Market. As the name suggests, the market is open Wednesdays from May through September at the community center. Take your time wandering around and see what locally-made treasures you can find.
